Wendy’s Cookshop in Honiton high street held their second of a series of “cookery master classes” this week at the Old Pavilion. The series started on 12th April with the opportunity to learn how to make perfect cupcakes which was demonstrated by Wendy.
This week was the turn of chef Conrad Fielding from the Honiton fishmongers.
Conrad demonstrated the stages, starting with a live lobster, through to the finished dishes of dressed lobster and lobster thermidor. After demonstrating how to correctly dispatch the lobster, Conrad showed students how to perfectly cook the lobster and make delicious sauces to go with it. The Master class finished with a tasting of the finished dishes.
The next cookery master class is on 10th May. Wendy will be demonstrating how to make all the delicious products for a perfect country picnic.
