The two above photographs were taken last night (7.09) at low tide on the beach walk between Orcombe Point and Sandy Bay. The first picture was achieved from a very low-angle at about 100 degrees left from the sun, and shows the moon rising behind the developing cloud enlightened by the sunset light. The second one was an experimentation with long exposure from the Rodney Steps - as the sun was setting at 90 degrees to the right, the clouds were moving and the sea curve was just right.
