Taunton Stop Line Way.

On a long walk from Devon border into Somerset came across the Taunton Stop line Way. I had never seen this type of anti tank trap before ( mainly cubes or dragons teeth) and it made for an interesting walk along the old Chard railway line embankment. The line of posts ( over 600 of them) faced the old canal to add to a defence line to stop the possible German invasion in 1940. The view at the end is seen from the old rail line. Neill Alexander.
